After making one of Norway’s first science fiction feature films at the age of 16, Jarand moved to Los Angeles to study at University of Southern California’s Cinematic Arts and directed music videos garnering hundreds of millions of views for artists like Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Astrid S and Nicky Romero. After school, Jarand returned to Norway to make its first Netflix film, “Cadaver”, which premiered as one of the world’s most popular films on the streaming service. The following year he was awarded "best new director" for his first commercial. Jarand is currently developing his next films.
